Tender Winner Ignored Kampung Dukuh City Forest Construction

City efforts in adding the green open space (RTH) is still hampered. One of the projects, Kampung Dukuh city forest on Jalan Raya Pondok gede (Hek), Kramatjati, East Jakarta, worked by PT Pubagot Jaya Abadi, is neglected.

Aryadi (45), a Kramatjati resident, demanded the city forest project to be finished immediately since the project location has been a nasty object at night.

“Many teenagers hang out on the location. No guard and the lack of lighting have made this place often misused,” stated Aryadi on Tuesday (5/6).

The city forest project as wide as 5,738 meter has no fence, door toilet doors are lost, cracked walls, corroded iron fences, and lamps are broken and also lost.

Head of East Jakarta Agriculture and Forestry Sub-Department, Agustinus Bambang Wisageni, stated that his party regrets the winning bidder ignoring the completion of the project agreement, whereas the project has been long awaited by the residents.

"PT Pubagot seems to work half-heartedly. As supposed to be, the construction project finished early this year. If delayed, the residents cannot use the existing facility,” Wisageni said.

Head Section of City Forest Maintenance of East Jakarta Agriculture and Forestry Sub-Department, Wahyu Indarwati, added that the Kampung Dukuh city forest project agreement is still the winning bidder responsibility.

“It is still in their maintenance. If there is any damage, it becomes their responsibility, it has not been handed over yet,” Indarwati told.

Wahyu added, the construction will not be a problem in the future since city assistance inspectorate (Irbanko) will supervise the winning bidder to finish their work soon.
